Who am I?

Wojciech Jendrysko - "Vee" or "Nacir" depending on which corner of the internet you found me from. Originally from Tychy, Poland; graduated from the Silesian University of Technology and moved to Long Island, NY in 2005 at age 23. Relocated to South Carolina in 2023, which is where I'm based now.

By day I'm an AV/IT Systems Engineer - the kind that designs, deploys, and post-sales delivers conference rooms, control systems, and signal-routing for enterprise clients. By night (and weekends) I run a small fleet of Linux boxes and write the tooling that keeps it all honest.

Debian-based admin/user since longer than I want to think about - chose it for stability and security, stayed for the muscle memory. I'm an MS user when the job needs it, and a Linux user the rest of the time. Mac OS is the one I never really lived with.

How I work: backup first, rollback ready, change small, verify everything. Six-sigma rule - no mistake repeated twice. If I broke it once, the lesson goes in the playbook so future me (or future anyone) doesn't step on the same rake.

Music - all kinds of Techno/House. Travel with my wife whenever we can swing it. Fishing - biggest catch so far is an over-3-foot sand shark. Hiking, biking, photography. Back in Poland a friend and I would put down 20-200 km on bikes in a day; the legs are a little rustier now.
